Make Art, Feel Good

Try my FREE workbook full of Dr Lemco prescriptions

Hey Frogs & Toads, it’s time for your weekly check-up. We need to talk about how much glue you’ve been eating.

But first - if you’re feeling uninspired, creatively constipated, or stuck behind a block the size of Yao Ming — good news, there’s a cure! All you have to do is follow this one, simple health protocol: Make Art, Feel Good.

Making art is one of the best things you can do for yourself. In fact, I made you a free workbook called exactly that - Make Art, Feel Good - because I wanted to make it easy for you to test this miracle drug called creativity out for yourselves. It’s a fun, little guide that I filled with prompts, exercises, experiments, and weird ideas to help you create freely (or as I like to call them, my “prescriptions”).

Whether you’re a seasoned artist, someone who hasn’t touched a crayon since elementary school, or someone still currently in elementary school, this is for you.

New YouTube Video, Comin’ In Hot!

If you’re still skeptical about this whole ‘Make Art, Feel Good’ protocol, I made a video breaking it down in the simplest terms possible.

Art isn’t just for “artists.” It’s for humans. Creativity is essential to feeling good, and making art is a lot easier than you think.

Music To Make Art To

If you're anything like me, then you need a soundtrack to create to. Personally, I like songs that are either erratic instrumentals, like funk and jazz, or songs in languages that I don't speak. I guess I'm too easily distracted by words that I might understand, so I prefer to just vibe out when it comes to tunes.

What about you? What are some of your favorite songs to make art to?

I created a Community Playlist on YouTube with some of my favorite tracks. I’ll be randomly adding to it from time to time. Please, feel free to drop in some of your favs!

Know someone who might appreciate this?

I know we’re just getting the ball rolling on this here newsletter, but if you’re enjoying what you’re seeing, feel free to invite a friend! If all 31 of you invited just 20,000 people, then even if only half of them actually signed up, that’d be like, over 300k new subscribers! That would be, like, SO cool! You can invite them to sign up at https://www.tlem.co/. Obvi no presh.

Okay my little ones, I must return now to my laboratory and continue tinkering with my contraptions. Until next time, BIG love from your pal the Doc ;)
