Fall Fun w/ Dr Lemco's Creative Club

Wassup Frogs & Toads, it’s yer boi, the diggy diggy doc, y’all!

A change is upon us. Despite the thermometer often reading June digits, there’s a difference in the air. It’s crisp, sharp, and smells of new season. The dreaded “FALL AIR” is upon us, there’s no denying it.

It’s not entirely a bad thing, though. Whether you’re already brainstorming Halloween costumes, stoked about Football Guy stuff, or ready to rock The Great Lock-In of September-to-December 2025, there’s a lot to look forward to this Fall. Most of all, there’s a buuuunch of awesome Creative Club events that you’re invited to come make art, have fun, and feel good at!

Thursday, September 11th at Nomad (129 Av Van Horne) is Puff & Paint, an elevated creative experience where no skills are required and all supplies are provided. And yes, we mean ALL supplies hehe (thanks to The Medicine Box). Featuring special guest “art instructors” Hash The 1 and the Vibe Investor, you can expect lots of unfiltered joking around, highly elevated energies, and off-the rails creative chaos.

Saturday, September 20th at Aux Angles Ronds (5333 Blvd St Laurent) is The Worst Painting Wins Contest. Do you have what it takes to create something truly horrific? Expect prizes & laughs in a judgement-free, fun-first environment. Featuring comedian extraordinaire Lawrence Corber, actual art instructor Zoe Dedes of Canvas Club, and ME! I can’t speak for the others, but I will be judging entirely on originality of concept. Do with that what you wish. This is for people with all levels of skill. I dare you to enter the contest… (+ some early bird discounts remain!)

Saturday, September 27th Dr Lemco’s Creative Club is at Chez Greenberg (5159 Parc Ave) with Schmear the Year, a delicious deli paint party. We’ll be thinking about our dream lives and how we can manifest them into reality through vision painting. Schmeared right in the middle of the Jewish New Year, this event is for anyone who wants to hang out with fun people, make something they’re proud of, and possibly eat the best smoked salmon you’ve ever had.

Sunday, October 12th Dr Lemco’s Creative Club is back at Aux Angles Ronds, hosting a Thanksgiving Paint Party. If I’m being honest, I could give a shit about Thanksgiving as a holiday. In fact, I have some opinions about it. But I do like the idea of getting together with an awesome community, having some fun, sharing some stories, being creative with one another, and being grateful about it. If that’s Thanksgiving, then sign me up. I’ve got the big dawg Pantelis joining the chaos for this. Lock in some tickets now for a valid excuse to miss your family’s dinner.

And finally, Thursday, October 30th we’re back once again at Aux Angles Ronds for a Halloween Edition of the club. Get your Halloween weekend started with a lil’ Thursday 5-a-7 paint party howyadoin. More details to come but reserve your spot now cuz this one’s gonna get big time spooky and tickets are already moving (still plenty of early bird specials).

By the way, did you know that Dr Lemco’s Creative Club is filmed and edited into a show?! The production process moves slowly ha ha ha but I finally edited our first ever event, CONTACTING ALIENS. Featuring Shosho, Steve Patrick Adams, and Mike Carrozza. If you’ve got 38 minutes and want to feel like you’re at an art workshop ran by comedians, take a watch!
